Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Scope mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by CharJ LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By using Scope, you agree to these terms.

Use of the service

Scope provides real-time job alert tracking for companies you select. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not:

• Use the Service to scrape, reproduce, or redistribute job data at scale
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free plan limits
• Use the Service in any way that could harm other users or third parties

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Scope. Notify us immediately at support@scopealerts.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subscriptions and billing

Scope offers a free tier and a Pro subscription available monthly ($7.99/month) or annually ($49.99/year). Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and governed by Apple's payment terms. Refunds are handled per Apple's refund policy. We do not process payments directly.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

Free plan limits

Free accounts may track up to 5 companies. Exceeding this limit requires upgrading to a Pro subscription. We reserve the right to adjust free plan limits with reasonable notice.

Data accuracy

Scope monitors company career pages and delivers alerts based on that data. While we strive for accuracy and speed, we do not guarantee that all job postings will be captured or that alerts will be delivered without delay. Scope is a supplemental tool and should not be your only method of job searching.

Intellectual property

The Scope app, brand, and all associated content are owned by CharJ LLC. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without written permission. Job posting content belongs to the respective companies and is displayed for informational purposes only.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon termination, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job alerts will result in employment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CharJ LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
